Gap between the hood and fender

I never noticed there's a significant gap between the hood and fender of my 2024 Palisade Calligraphy on the passenger's side until my nephews were playing around my car and they tried to stick their toy into it! It could easily be about 1/4in! I always take my car to the dealer for routine check-up or maintenance and the guys at the shop never noticed too, otherwise I'd assume they would tell me. I never got into an accident, never bumped into anything so I can only assume it's a factory issue. What's the best way to address this? I bought it June last year so I'm hoping it's covered by warranty!

gap definitely shouldn't be there on a brand new Palisade, especially on the calligraphy. If the dealer missed it during routine checks, then likely a factory fitment issue that should be covered under warranty. Don't let them brush it off just because it's "minor." try to get them to demand a fix

Absolutely A brand new item shouldn't have any issues at all. Make sure to push for that warranty fix while everything's still fresh. You deserve it

Definitely bring it up with your dealer ASAP, it's under warranty, they should fix or adjust it at no cost, would love to know what you eventually did
