Best dash cam for monitoring palisade safety features

I'm trying to keep an eye on some odd behavior with my Palisade's adaptive cruise control and lane assist features. I'd rather not hardwire a camera, just want to plug it into the 12V outlet. I'm looking for something that records in high resolution to catch those alerts when they act up, even when the weather's clear.

I had a similar issue with my 2022 Palisade during weekend drives, lane assist would act up even on clear roads. I used a Viofo dash cam plugged into the 12V outlet. It records in 4K and picks up alerts clearly without needing hardwiring. Easy setup and works great for tracking those glitches.

For a front and rear dual dash cam, look for one with 4K recording and excellent night vision. Brands like Thinkware, BlackVue, or Garmin offer plug-in models that effectively capture HDA alerts and provide a clear view of system behavior.
